Makamma Sayyid Maulana Yusuf is the story of the origin of a shrine to a sayyid by the king of Sumenep, Sultan Abdurahman Paku Nata Ningrat. The king receives a sign from the Lord and vows to build the grave site on the nearly deserted island of Puteran if he and his men return safe from battle again the King of Bali. As told by Pak Moh.
