Perrèng Sojjhinna Kè Rabâ is the story of the origin of a stand of special bamboo which grows after Kè Rabâ sticks the bamboo he used as a cooking skewer in the ground. The people of Pamekasan are besieged by drought until the king builds the mystical kyai a house to shelter him from the rain.
